Here are a few ways to keep it looking brand new!

To protect your jewelry's shine, it’s important to avoid contact with soaps, perfumes, lotions, makeup, hair products, cleaning products, and other personal body products.

Sterling Silver/ 925  jewelry should  be protected from perfumes and makeup in order to keep the smoothness and polish of the silver. It's also recommended that you clean sterling silver from time to time with a cleaning cloth that is specifically designed for silver.

Gold jewelry is a soft metal and for this reason it should be protected from perfumes, lotions, soaps, and other chemicals which can dull and break down the gold. We recommend buffing gold with chamois cloth to maintain the shine. And every few months you should clean the gold by soaking it up to 3 hours in warm water with a few drops of liquid dish detergent.

Diamonds specifically white diamonds can be cleaned by gently using a lint-free cloth, gentle soap and water, or jewelry cleaning solutions/ultrasonic jewelry cleaners.

Gemstones such as topaz, amethyst, garnet, citrine, and more are products of nature which result in each stone varying in color and inclusions. Use lukewarm water to clean gemstones.

Pearls that are freshwater and cultured are products of nature that should be protected from chemicals, sweat, and acids. It's recommended to store pearl jewelry in a soft scarf or in a box. And use lukewarm water to clean the pearl.

Gold and Rose Gold Plated jewelry is the process when a thin layer is coated onto the surface of a base metal. After every use clean the jewelry with a cotton ball or soft cloth to remove any residue that occurred while wearing. If your jewelry needs a deeper clean soak in warm soapy water and clean with a soft brush. Avoid jewelry cleaners because it will tarnish the jewelry quicker.
